Tiger picked up every mark clean, and took every cast on her way to passing the Master Test at the Duluth Retriever Club's AKC Hunt Test Friday, July 30th. Team Northern Plains earns Champion and Runner-Up in South Dakota State Pheasant Championship! Toby and Bailey lead Pete and Wade to top spots in Amateur Doubles division. Bailey also posted the 5th best time in an extremely strong puppy division.

We offer a number of different training programs and we will customize your dog's program to fit the type of hunting that you do. We offer a few select breedings a year that will produce black, chocolate, and yellow lab pups. We strive to produce a dog with drive, a cooperative attitude, good looks and conformation, strength, and brains. In other words, we want to produce dogs that have it all! We love to get these pups back for training due to their strong instincts, great noses, and high level of intelligence. Simply put, they are a pleasure to train! The disposition of one of these dogs will make it as fine a family dog as it is a hunting dog, they have a strong desire to please. Many of our dogs that we breed are from pointing labrador bloodlines and either point themselves, or throw pointing lab pups. To see the puppies we have available for sale, click on Litters. In the market for a Trained Retriever? We occasionally have labs for sale that have been through our gun dog training programs. These are dogs we have usually raised ourselves and worked with since they were weaned. Depending on their age and the level of training they have achieved, we will sell them as Started Pups, Started Dogs, or Finished Dogs. Started pups will have their obedience training and will have been introduced to birds, the gun, and water (season permitting). Started dogs will then go on to be force-fetched and collar-conditioned. They will have had a lot of opportunities to see and retrieve marks on land and water, and flush and retrieve many birds in the upland field. Finished dogs will then go on to learn how to be handled to blind retrieves and to retrieve multiple marks.
