"Wade, Just thought I'd let you know how one of your pups turned out.  We picked her up last February, a litter from Maddie if I remember correctly.  Barley's first trip to NoDak in late October netted 75 birds for the week.  She probably had 10 picture perfect retrieves from the point in the picture, definitely her favorite spot.  The other picture was last weekend NE of Ortonville.  She flushed both of those roosters, one she chased for a good 50 yards before the bird ducked into the cattails.  Pretty awesome, glad I spent the money to have that pine cone removed from her intestines in June.  Chris M. - MN

"Wade, Jack had his first experience hunting out in South Dakota in Clark for a weekend party I was invited to.  Jack was the only dog retrieving and flushing for 6 experienced hunters and he did fantastic.  We shot 30 birds, all of which he retrieved, found birds in brush that we all walked by and was perfect under command.  My friends, all of whom have had trained dogs, were impressed on how he worked after just 3 months of your program.  I will refer Northern Plains to all my friends and will be back with Jack and future puppies.  Jason R. - MN

"Wade, After getting involved in my local Hunting Retrievers Club this spring, then finding Northern Plains Retrievers and getting my puppy, it has been a great time.  This is the first dog I have trained at these standards.  Club members, as well as I, are impressed in her marking abilities and how well she picks training up.  Without me getting a great pup from you I don't think I would have been able to get a dog to pass a hunt test at the age of 6 months.  We passed our Started tests on Saturday and Sunday.  We are heading to Evansville, IN this weekend to hopefully get our other 2 passes and our Started Title.  Again Thanks."
"Just wanted to let you know since the last email she has received her Started Title.  Again, thank you for a great pup!"

"Hey Wade, Just thought I would send a photo of Major's first roosters.  He is doing so great.  He is such an amazing dog.  Everyone is so impressed by his demeanor, intelligence, and how good looking he is.  Once he found out how to use his nose, he was awesome.  He flushed and retrieved five birds.  One of them he locked up on a point for a good while.  We are SO happy with him...what a great dog...smart, hunts well, and is a great house dog.  Thanks!  Hope all is well."

"Wade, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!  Etthu is doing famously and is a really great puppy.  She is working well on retrieves and is an amazing water dog (above and under!).  Hope all is well with you and your family."

"Wade, Enclosed is a picture of Zip, the 9 month old lab I purchased from you in July.  She is an excellent hunter along with being a great family pet.  She points pheasants and quail perfect.  It is so much fun to watch her.  Zip got to hunt 55 days last fall, so I believe she is just as happy to be with us as we are to have her.  Thanks for a great dog!"

"Wade, Thanks for providing a good college for Will.  He is a pointing lab.  One Saturday he cornered 4 pheasants until I was ready.  Can't miss these!  He has retrieved a goose in big waves - powerful swimmer.  He has retrieved grouse, ducks, pheasants, and geese.  I missed a partridge."

"Here is a pic of Dakota's first retrieve of the year.  This one is memorable for me as while walking back to the truck in the ditch, she pointed out this rooster.  She had the classic stance for about 5 seconds, and then went for the flush.  It was great!"

"We want to thank you for the fine work you did with our puppies.  Duke is doing just fine, I am very happy with the training you gave him.  Maybe we can have them come for a refresher camp in 2008."

"Wade, I thought you might want to know how Chew did in her first duck season.  She did real well considering all the ice we had this year, and the more she hunted, the more she knew.  The last day of the season there was three hunters and we killed 18 ducks and 2 of the largest geese I have ever seen.  They both weighed over 18 lbs., she retrieved them both.  She's just the perfect size and everyone thinks she's GREAT!"

"I just wanted to let you know that I am very pleased with June.  She is doing great.  She has a very good nose and a lot of desire to retrieve....I could not be more happy with her and a lot of the guys I hunt with are really surprised at how well she works for only being 11 months old.  She has around 30 retrieves on pheasants and 20 retrieves on ducks....Once again, thank you for the pup, she is working out well for me."
          Joe B. - Alliance, NE

"Wade, I wanted to let you know that Avery did just fine with pheasants on Saturday.  She ranged extremely well, stayed close all day.  First bird of the day, she flushed it, my son shot it, she delivered it to me like a pro.  Had a couple of great marks/retrieves throughout the day.  Had a total of 7 or 8 retrieves right to hand.  I was a proud dad!  Thanks for everything."

"Wade, I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how Cody is doing.  He is pointing more now than not.  Yesterday he hunted wild pheasants.  The cover was heavy and there was a lot of it.  The birds ran ahead of us and mostly flushed at the end of the cover.  However, Cody had four points and two were roosters.  He retrieved all birds shot to hand.  Overall, I'd say he did outstanding."

"
Cody's upland hunting is exceptional for a nine month old pup.  He has pointed almost every bird I've shot in the last month.  I took him to a state controlled pheasant hunt the other day.  The first day I wasn't even going to take him because of the carnival like atmosphere.  To make a long story short, I got backed into a corner by a worthless hunting buddy and took him anyway.  I let eight hunters and six dogs go in front of us to avoid any problems for Cody.  Once they had moved through the area several hundred yards we started out.  I'm not kidding you Wade, in forty minutes we were back at the truck witht two limits of roosters.  Basically, the same thing happened the next day.  Once he gets big and strong with a couple of seasons under his belt, he will be hard to beat, anywhere.  Thanks again."
